Water Crew Chief

The Town of Medfield, MA is seeking applicants for the position of Water Crew Chief. The position works under the direction of the Water Supervisor and performs professional, technical and supervisory work related to all construction and inspection activities including the coordination of staff and all necessary work in order to maintain and repair water and wastewater systems within the Town of Medfield. This role ensures organizational efficiency in the application of prescribed policies, procedures, and methods. A valid Massachusetts Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) with Air Brakes endorsement, 2A Hoisting License and Massachusetts 2T/2D Water Licenses are desirable (if applicant does not possess licenses, they are required to obtain them within 1 year of hire). High School Diploma, 5+ years of experience in water, wastewater or construction industry, supervisory capacity in operations preferably in the public sector working with local government or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
